Technical Development
CFS provides members with a rigorous foundation in corporate finance and valuation through technical workshops and guided training. Members gain proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and Excel through modules modeled after professional investment banking programs.
Training includes instruction in discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, comparable company and precedent transaction valuation, leveraged buyouts, and merger modeling.
Professional Development
Our professional development curriculum equips members with the skills necessary to excel in competitive recruiting environments across investment banking, private equity, asset management, and consulting.
Members participate in resume and behavioral workshops, mock interviews, and one-on-one mentorship designed to cultivate technical confidence and professional polish.
Speaker Series & Industry Engagement
CFS partners with leading firms to facilitate direct engagement between students and industry professionals.
Through firm presentations, alumni panels, and executive roundtables, members gain firsthand insights into deal execution, market trends, connections, and career pathways across the financial services industry.
Community
At its core, CFS is a collaborative network of driven students committed to excellence and shared growth. The Society fosters a culture where mentorship and peer development occur organically—members support one another through technical training, recruiting preparation, and long-term professional guidance.
This culture of mentorship defines CFS: a community built not only to master finance, but to elevate one another in pursuit of leadership and impact within the global financial community.
